WE'RE COMMITTED TO OUR COMMUNITY

We’re committed to supporting the local community. Join us in helping the amazing people of Belize. Pack a few extra items for school children, match our nightly charitable contribution, or ask us about offering a 5-night stay at Belize Ocean Club in your next charity auction!

1. PACK FOR A PURPOSE

We are proud members of Pack For A Purpose, an initiative that allows travelers like you to make a lasting impact in the community. If you save just a bit of space in your suitcase to bring supplies, you can improve the lives of local children and families.

2. $2 FOR EVERY RESERVATION, EVERY NIGHT

Belize Ocean Club donates $2 BZD for every occupied room night to a worthy community program, school, or non-profit organization in need of financial assistance. Each month we select a different beneficiary organization. We invite you to match the resort's donation upon check-out. Check out the charities we are working with this year HERE.

3. CHARITY AUCTIONS

Belize Ocean Club offers a highly discounted 5 night stay to select charity auctions on consignment. These trips have sold well above market value at several events and raised thousands of dollars for non-profit organizations around the world. Please inquire for more details.

Protecting Our Environment

Belize Ocean Club believes in responsible eco-tourism and is striving to minimize our impact on the environment. We're committed to protecting Belize's beautiful ecosystems and their biodiversity. We actively encourage each team member and guest to participate in our efforts to be environmentally friendly. With your help, we can make a difference!

The world around us is beautiful and we want to keep it that way.

Sustainabilty Tips for Travelers:

  • Use and refill your complimentary water bottle

  • Reuse your towels to reduce water and chemical waste

  • Turn off lights and air conditioners when you leave your room

  • Minimize water use (turn off taps when shaving or brushing teeth)
  • Respect local cultures and customs
  • Dispose of trash responsibly and recycle where possible
  • When diving and snorkeling, never touch plant/animal life and minimize fin movement (which stirs up sand that can choke the reef)
  • Never chase an animal (on land or under water)
  • Join environmental groups and support environmental causes
  • Donate to the local community (match our $1 per room, per night donation)
